YOU’RE PROBABLY WONDERING

What are they made out of?

Fire Nuggs are handmade in Lake Tahoe from locally harvested lodgepole pine cones. Then they’re covered in a unique mixture of pure, filtered beeswax, and sawdust from neighborhood saw mills, tree services, and cabinet makers. And unicorn tears.

How did you come up with the idea?

These tiny, little pine cones are literally everywhere around the lake. So we asked ourselves, “What can we do with them? Grind them up and make bricks? Pine flavored dog toothbrushes? How about an all natural firestarter? Bingo bango bongo.

Where can I get some?

Glad you asked. Fire Nuggs are available in stores all over Lake Tahoe. Or you could come visit and make your own, but why would you want to?

Are they made with any chemicals?

Heck no. Unlike other firestarters that use calcium hypochlorite, potassium permanganate and glycerin among other yucky chemicals, Fire Nuggs are 100% all-natural, fully sustainable, eco friendly, pine cones handmade with a little mountain magic.

Are they made in America?

Fuck yeah.
